The Little Hair Space is a small salon Suite in Darlington, that was created by Katie Barton, designed to offer a welcoming, 1:1 hair experience in a private and relaxed setting.

“I know that traditional larger salons can sometimes be overwhelming and intimidating, so I wanted to create a safe and welcoming space for all clients. So you can truly relax & enjoy your hair experience.”

That same approach has extended beyond client appointments. The salon’s calm, intimate environment naturally lends itself to education — allowing stylists to learn in a quieter, more focused setting with closer guidance and personal attention.

Classes are kept deliberately small to ensure education is highly personal, practical, and hands-on. This creates a super supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, refining technique, and building real confidence.
